Hi Guys! Thanks for visiting ZA Reptiles! 

I'm Zowie, a creative, animal loving, former AZA Zoo Educator, Naturalist, Reptile mom, and YouTuber! I have a degree in Animal Behavior, Ecology, & Conservation and Digital Media Arts (concentration in graphic design), as well as a minor in Zoo Biology.  I write about everything zoos, reptiles, and eco friendly living!

Ever since I was in third grade and our zoo put in their meerkat exhibit, I knew that was what I wanted to do! There isn't much out there about the process, or the behind the scenes into lives of zoo keepers, so I hope to provide that information to those that are curious about becoming a keeper, or just want to know more about what it's like!
